ARC025: The Lodger - Grown-Ups
The band decamped from the bedsit to Alan Smyth's tiny little Sheffield recording studio to record fourteen tracks and the result is Grown-Ups.Direct, intimate and almost wholly devoid of cynicism, The Lodger have created a record imbued with a cheering, if curious naivety that recalls The Go-Betweens, The Boo Radleys, The Wedding Present, and The June Brides.

Artist: The Lodger
The Lodger was formulated by Pontefract-born songwriter, singer and guitarist Ben Siddall inside a Leeds bedsit in 2004 as a solo project, quickly becoming a 3, then a 4-piece. After a few well-received 7-inch singles on a variety of independent labels such as Angular Records and Dance to the Radio, a debut album titled 'Grown-Ups' was released in June 2007 around the world.
