New Gyratory System track debuts on Freak Zone

The b-side to new Gyratory System single 'Pamplona' (out June 14th) was played out by Stuart Maconie on his BBC 6music show last night. You can listen again to Stuart spinning 'Colonel' at 1hr 32mins in to Sunday's show.

WETDOG NEW SINGLE, VIDEO, AND REMIX COMPETITION!

'Wymmins' Final' is the tennis themed second single - taken from the album 'Frauhaus!' (also out on the Captured Tracks label in the US) - and has been re-recorded by the band for this release. Backed with 2 new tracks 'I Can't Say It' and a brilliant alternative version of 'New Year', this single makes me picture Mark E. Smith wearing a pleated skirt and being hit over the head repeatedly whilst being forced to consume strawberries and cream.

The song is accompanied by a brilliantly bizarre new video – featuring the total massacre of some sadist puddings by a masked figure. S&M for ice cream and cakes. It is currently being hosted exclusively on Stereogum.

We are also holding a 'Wymmin's Final' remix competition in conjunction with Fairtilizer.com for this release. The band will pick their favourite remix and the winner will receive a digital release of the track, along with a Wetdog goodie bags of records and t-shirts. Wetdog and James Chance This Friday

Fresh from their tour of the US and the release of their album there on the Captured Tracks label, Wetdog return to these shores to play alongside notorious sax offender James Chance.
